Welcome to Department of Management
Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Arts & Commerce College, Indore is the first
Government Institute running M.B.A. since 2016. It is approved by AICTE, DTE and
permitted by Higher Education Department Government of M.P. approved and affiliated
to DAVV Indore. MBA 2 Year program (Full Time) is offered with dual specialization
course with finance, HR, Marketing, IT & Productions. Facilities - The department
has a well equipped smart classroom/conference hall, e-library with access to management
journals, newspapers, computer lab.
The department has initiated its activities under ‘M-Lab’ to enhance and sharpen
the managerial skills of the management students. The management laboratory aims
at the holistic development of these budding professionals and make their future
ready for transforming into responsible citizens and competent managers.
M-Lab proposes and commenced with the following developmental activities-
● Case Study Analysis to enhance the analytics skills.
● Presentations & Group Discussions to develop the presentation and discussion skills.
● Industry Visits to get a live feel of corporate culture.
● Guest Lectures from Industry Experts to lean about the careers and corporate life.
● Guest Lectures from Academic Experts to learn about the careers and corporate
life.
● Guest Lectures from Academic Experts to sharpen the academic perspective.
● Student clubs to expose the students to application of the managerial aspects
team spirit, planning, coordination, organizing, Leadership skills, conflict management,
time management etc.
M-Lab initiated various developmental activities in its first year followed by Group
discussion sessions, interview techniques for students. Team building, managerial
efficiency sessions were organized. Student visited renowned companies like Flexituff
internationals. Cumins limited to know about organizational environment and their
workings. Various guest lectures by academicians and industry key persons were organized
for students development.
